My jewelry featured in 2010 Wire Art Jewelry Calendar!

It was quite an honor when Marjorie Oxman contacted me a couple of months ago asking if she could feature my jewelry in the 2010 Wire Art Jewelry Calendar she was putting together. What a lovely compliment! The calendar has been completed and my Colonial flutist pendant designed from Crest-O-Gold china is featured on the July page.

It's a lovely 13-month calendar featuring 35 wire art jewelry designs. Jewelry artists will enjoy the inspiration each month will bring. And what a great gift it would make for your artist friends!

Featured on Body Icing By Jennifer

There's a great new website that has just gone live - Body Icing By Jennifer - that you should keep an eye on. Jennifer has created a site where jewelry artists can find information on their craft, whether it be "how to" tips, how to start a jewelry business or how to improve their current business. I just found a great tutorial on making ear cuffs there. She also has some jewelry-related articles up and has even started her own jewelry social forum. Plus she has a featured artist section and has very kindly featured yours truly!

How nice - two features!

Two online social networks are featuring me this week and I'm pleased as punch about it!

The Ultimate Connection for Small Business Owners has chosen me as one of their featured members for the entire month of March:

And I've been chosen as Diva of the Week on the Diva Within:

W-Women Globally feature

I'm very pleased that W-Women Globally has chosen my jewelry to feature on their brand new website!

http://www.wwomenglobally.com/main/?p=209

I know you're going to love this new site.  Here's a little excerpt from their site that tells what they're all about:

Who are the W'Women?

In short:  they are Wonderful and Wise Women - and they are placed Worldwide.

At the same time, they are creative, active and successful in what they do.

In the age of the neverending hunt of (always the same) celebrities, we would like to focus on all Wonderful Women and their amazing achievements that can serve as examples and inspiration to the others.  We would like to present their stories on this site, hoping that you will enjoy them and invite your friends to read them.

Sounds like a great concept, doesn't it?

Article in Currents Magazine!

I wish my scanner was working - I'd love to scan and post the article Currents Magazine wrote about my jewelry. It's a very small article but I'm absolutely thrilled about it! Currents Magazine is a free magazine that's circulated to every home in Monmouth County, New Jersey. I believe it comes out every other month. It's packed full of local shopping suggestions, restaurant information, beauty and fashion tips, coupons, recipes, etc. Ads are quite expensive to take out in this magazine, at least to this small indie business owner, because it's mailed directly to 10,000 homes in Monmouth County. And here they've written up my jewelry in their "green" section in their holiday issue- for free! They even put a photo of one of my necklaces. Yonna Hall of Currents Magazine said that she loved the Marjorie's Cracked name and thought my jewelry would make great gifts for the holidays.

Thank you, Yonna! Currents Magazine is quite an environmentally conscious magazine and I'm very proud to be mentioned in it.
